Me, Myself and I
I have Asperger's Syndrome, a milder form of autism.
I am CISCO certified in web design.
My house has four computers: Windows 95, ME, and two XPs (one of which is mine). We also had a Macintosh 93, which broke down.
I used to take Taekwondo, but had to stop for personal and physical reasons.
My current obsession is the video game Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, as well as one of its characters, Albel Nox.
The first anime I remember seeing is "Project A-ko" when I was 11, but there was a show I loved when I was little (Noozles, I think) that was/is apparently anime.
I consider celebrity gossip a guilty pleasure.
I usually prefer having my favorite characters be the uke [submissive] of the relationship when it comes to non-canon yaoi/slash. Seeing a favorite of mine, such as Albel Nox, as the seme [dominant] urks me to no end. Which is strange because...
I hardly have any preferences when it comes to characters in a canon/official relationship, whether its heterosexual or homosexual. In fact, I think it's a bonus when they "take turns", so to speak.
I strongly dislike wimpy ukes. It's one thing if the character is in some circumstance in which anyone would be rendered helpless if they were in that situation. Becoming spineless in and/or having to be rescued from EVERY DAMN LITTLE THING? No. That's basically the male equivalant of the also much-loathed Damsel in Distress.
I want to travel to Japan, Australia and possibly France. I also want to go back to Vancouver, Victoria (both BC, Canada) and Portland (Oregon, U.S.)
I don't smoke and I only have a drink every now and then.
I like dogs, but on the whole I prefer cats.
When it comes to anime, my 'sub or dub' preferences depends on the show and the performances of the actors. That's the beauty of DVDs, folks.
When it comes to live-action foreign movies, I would prefer them to be subtitled. It's not that I have a problem with them being dubbed, it's just that I have yet to see a live-action dub that's any good.
 I'll think of more later.
