Q: Why is it called Crystalline Academy, and why the name change? (UPDATED: 06-13-05)
A: At the time, I had no idea what I was going to do with this site. I was in a web design class and had to write down what mine was going to be about. I decided to just use it to display my artwork and stories. I called it "The Castle of Randomness" because I couldn't think of anything. Since this site doesn't get as many visitors as 'No Reaction!' does, I thought I would change the name and the layout while I was ahead.
The second name for this site was "Midnight Stranger, but as I recently found out, it is also the name of a computer game. So to avoid any future confrontation, I changed it to Crystalline Academy, the name of a school in one of my upcoming works. I believe Crystalline is also a space term, but I'm not sure what it is exactly.

C--W/B/M: Regarding your drawings, there's too much chin and not enough forehead; this is wrong; that's not how a real anime character looks, etc. etc. etc.
A: Thank you. My drawings could always use improvement, so I do look for criticism with them. However, I'm not sure about your definition of a "real anime character." Everyone has a different style of drawing. Watch all the anime you have and look at the character designs. Most are drawn the way we are supposedly used to (Noir, Azumanga Daioh and the like, and even then those look different from one another); but some designs look realistic (Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade) and others are just bizzare (Alien Nine, The Ping Pong Club). Sure, my characters don't look like Sailor Moon or whatever, but that is just the way my style is. Besides, if everyone has the same drawing style, then everything would look repetitive and boring. =P

A: Why, yes I do. Why do you ask?

W/B/M: Homosexuality is gross, and wrong, and good Christians shouldn't allow it! (Yes, someone has actually told me this)
A: Ugh, don't even start with me on this. First of all, I'm agnostic, so I guess you can count me out as a "good Christian." Second, this is a complete non-issue that I don't like to waste my time arguing about, so I'll just say this: Bigoted comments like this are stupid, and arrogant, and good PEOPLE shouldn't allow it! Thank you.

Q: What kind of stories do you write?
A: All kinds, mostly fantasy-ish fiction.

A: Huh? I can't understand you. What did you say? Please, please for the love of God, learn to spell and use grammar! I can understand if you are new to English, or (if you are like me) you mess up every once in a while, but the kind of writing up there is just ridiculous. If you really are bad at spelling, use a spell check.
Oh, about the Dragonball thing: I just don't like it. A series with five hundred fights that last twenty episodes is not my idea of good show.
