Former Layouts
The Castle of Randomness / Midnight Stranger
Layout #1: Version Boring
Dates Used: April-June 2003
Created with:Microsoft FrontPage
Layout #2: Version PageMaker
Dates Used: June 2003-October 2003
Notes: A version of the site made by Geocities' Pagemaker
Layout #3: Beginner in Frames
Dates Used: October 2003-April 2004
Created with: Corel Photo-Paint, Notepad and FrontPage
Notes: My first shot at using frames. I don't have a screencap of that one, though.
Layout #4: Boogiepop
Dates Used: August 2004-December 2004
Credit(s): Kadono Kouhei (writer of the Boogiepop novels) and Ogata Kouji (illustrator)
Created with: Corel Photo-Paint, Notepad and FrontPage
Notes: Again using frames, I went with dark red and black for colors, and my favorite picture of Boogiepop as the main attraction. The entrance page consisted of a lineart version of my Blind Angel picture's face.

Layout #5: Haibane Renmei
Dates Used: December 2004-February 2005
Credit(s): Yoshitoshi ABe (creator)
Created with: CorelDraw, Corel Photo-Paint and Notepad
Notes: While it's a fairly simple-looking layout, this is my favorite of the bunch. The picture on the left is a gorgeous drawing of HR's lead character, Rakka. The words on top is what her cocoon dream is (if you've seen the show, you'll know what I'm talking about).

Layout #6: Vampire Princess
Dates Used: February 2005-May 2005
Credit(s): TYPE-MOON and Kinoko Nasu (creators(?))
Created with: CorelDraw, Corel Photo-Paint and Notepad
Notes: I take it back. This is my favorite layout so far. ^^;;
After learning how to use Iframes, I made this layout. The character on the left is Arcueid Brunestud from Lunar Legend Tsukihime (as much as I disliked the anime, I fell in love with Arcueid's character), the "vampire princess" of the layout's title. If you can (hopefully) see the background, it's a "symbol filter" layered with dark red and black colors.

Crystalline Academy
Layout #1: Blind Angel
Dates Used: May 2005-November 2005
Created with: CorelDraw, Corel Photo-Paint and Notepad
Notes: Since this is my own personal website, I decided to use one of my characters this time around. I chose the angel drawing because it's the drawing I'm most proud of (despite his deformed left hand ^^;; ). This guy was actually the main character of a story idea that was scrapped. I do hope to use him again in the future since I have his backstory and characterization down, plus I'm quite fond of him.

Layout #2: Autumn Soeurs
Dates Used: November 2005-March 2005
Credit(s): Oyuki Konno (creator)
Created with: Photoshop 7 and Notepad
Notes: Just in time for the fall, this layout features Sachiko Ogasawara and Yumi Fukuzawa from the novel and anime series, Maria-sama Ga Miteru. FYI, the word 'soeur' is French for 'sister', which is what the students at Lillian Catholic School call a fellow student they share a special type of bond with. For more information, sites like Sugar and Spice Cosplay's fansite is a good resource.

Layout #3: Buster and the Sheep
Dates Used: March 2005-Present
Credit(s): Mitchell Hurwitz (creator and executive producer), Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, David Nevins (executive producers) and Tony Hale (Buster)
Created with: Photoshop 7 and Notepad
Notes: In honor of the late, great FOX tv show "Arrested Development." This montage of screenshots is taken from the first season, in which the narrator explains an incident the character Buster Bluth has at a Catalina, CA photo booth.
